
Professional Overview
Currently, Katherine provides a full spectrum of labor and employment-related services to her employer-clientele. She successfully represents management in various administrative, state, and federal proceedings in cases involving discrimination, retaliation, FSLA wage and hour claims, including class actions.
Further, Katherine provides counseling and internal investigation during lay-offs, terminations, disciplinary action/hiring, along with negotiating employment contracts and severance packages.
In addition, to her labor and employment practice, Katherine defends a variety of professional liability and general commercial and corporate litigation matters. She has handled all aspects of litigation and tried cases in both state and federal court.
Prior to joining O’Hagan Meyer, Katherine worked as Corporate Counsel for a telecommunications company. At the start of her third year in law school, Katherine commenced working full-time for the Mayor’s Office in a unique position known throughout the community as “bar czar”. In this capacity, she was responsible for overseeing hundreds of liquor licenses.
Katherine is licensed to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin as well as before the federal judiciary for the Northern District of Illinois and the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
