Allison M. Wheeler

Allison Wheeler is an attorney in the Philadelphia office of O’Hagan Meyer. Ms. Wheeler handles all aspects of defending workers’ compensation matters for a diverse client base. Allison brings a unique and valuable perspective in mitigating risk. She started her career defending workers’ compensation claims and most recently, spent the last several years exclusively representing claimants at Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano in Philadelphia.  Allison is extremely knowledgeable in both sides of the strategies of litigation, has firsthand knowledge of the local collective bargaining agreements for unionized employees and has handled a multitude of claims ranging from straightforward to catastrophic. Ms. Wheeler will now handle defense litigation exclusively.

In recognition of her success, Allison has been selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star, a distinction given only to 2.5% of attorneys, every year since 2011.  She has written articles for The Legal Intelligencer and lectured for continuing legal education courses in the field of workers’ compensation. Allison is a certified specialist in workers’ compensation.

Allison is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.

Allison earned her law degree at Syracuse University College of Law in 2008.  She obtained her undergraduate degree from University at Albany, cum laude, in Public Policy.
